This position works closely with global engineering teams to conduct complex analyses, optimize designs, reduce risk, and validate product performance. The role requires significant expertise in FEA methodologies, material behaviour, and mechanical system modelling. This engineer acts as an internal consultant and mentor to cross‑functional teams, driving improved product robustness and accelerated development cycles The purpose of the role is to provide advanced technical leadership in the analysis, simulation, and validation of mechanical components and systems across the Ingersoll Rand product portfolio. This role ensures mechanical integrity, reliability, and performance of fluid‑handling products through expert‑level finite element analysis (FEA) using the ANSYS simulation suite. Responsibilities Lead advanced FEA modeling and simulation efforts across Ingersoll Rand’s product lines using ANSYS Mechanical (static, dynamic, thermal, modal, nonlinear).
