In this role, you will provide mechanical engineering expertise and leadership across a portfolio of Liquids Pipelines projects in Canada and the United States. You will guide project design, equipment selection, reliability improvements, and engineering solutions that support the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of Enbridge assets.

What You Will Do:
Serve as the primary Mechanical Engineering contact for Projects, ensuring alignment with mechanical equipment engineering standards, asset strategies, and long-term reliability objectives.
Review and audit project designs for compliance and completeness, providing constructive feedback to Projects and other stakeholders.
Lead or support in-house projects and produce authenticated design documentation, drawings, and calculations as required while meeting technical, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives.
Apply mechanical engineering skills, knowledge, and experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Partner with internal teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify design improvement opportunities, and enhance cost competitiveness and design efficiency.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to developing engineers and junior team members.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree. Mechanical engineering degree or related degree is preferred.
6+ years of related oil and gas industry experience.
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada, per applicable jurisdiction. If in the US, preference is to have a PE.
Strong understanding of oil and gas pipeline and facility construction, as well as applicable Canadian and U.S. regulatory requirements, and industry codes and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences and can provide technical guidance, coaching, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Bluebeam.
Experience in engineering, project management, construction, or Enbridge projects is considered an asset.
