Role Overview
The Land Acquisition & Land Pooling Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and aggregating land parcels, coordinating with landowners, farmers, brokers, legal professionals, and government authorities, and facilitating the land acquisition process from initial identification through registration and closure. The role requires strong field coordination, negotiation, documentation, follow-up, and risk-identification skills.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Identify suitable land parcels and conduct site visits and physical verification.
Coordinate with landowners, farmers, agents, and brokers for land aggregation.
Verify ownership, title, survey, and other basic land/property documents.
Coordinate with legal teams for title verification and due diligence.
Negotiate and coordinate with landowners regarding acquisition and land pooling.
Maintain accurate landowner, property, and document records.
Coordinate agreements, registrations, and other transaction-related documentation.
Liaise with Sub-Registrar Offices, lawyers, government departments, and other stakeholders.
Track each land parcel from Identification → Verification → Negotiation → Agreement → Registration → Closure .
Identify ownership issues, documentation gaps, legal concerns, and transaction risks.
Provide regular updates and reports on land acquisition and pooling activities.
Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related field.
Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, land aggregation, land pooling, real estate, or property transactions.
Experience in coordinating with landowners, farmers, brokers, legal teams, and government authorities.
Basic understanding of land records, title documents, agreements, and registration procedures.
Relevant field experience is mandatory.
Willingness to travel extensively for land identification and site visits.
