Job Title: Senior Lansweeper Technical Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Chennai Work Mode: Work from Office / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Role Level: Senior Engineer / Technical Consultant Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Lansweeper Technical Engineer / Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Lansweeper deployment, configuration, asset discovery, inventory management, integrations, troubleshooting, and IT asset management. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting Lansweeper solutions across enterprise environments, including IT asset discovery, inventory, network discovery, software/hardware inventory, reporting, dashboards, integrations, and automation . The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, Active Directory, databases, SNMP, WMI, SSH, REST APIs, and enterprise IT environments . Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, administer, and support Lansweeper environments. Plan and execute Lansweeper installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations. Configure asset discovery and network discovery across enterprise environments. Configure discovery methods such as: Windows/WMI Active Directory SNMP SSH IP Range Scanning VMware / Virtualization environments Cloud and other supported discovery methods Configure and maintain Lansweeper scanning servers and scanning targets . Monitor asset discovery and resolve scanning failures and discovery issues. Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventory. Configure asset relationships, locations, users, departments, and other inventory attributes. Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and queries based on business requirements. Support software license and software inventory reporting. Configure integrations with external ITSM, security, monitoring, and enterprise applications. Work with Lansweeper APIs / REST APIs for data extraction and integration requirements. Troubleshoot authentication, scanning, database, agent, network, and integration-related issues. Perform root-cause analysis and provide appropriate technical solutions. Support Lansweeper upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and environment optimization. Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration documents, and operational procedures. Work closely with customers, infrastructure teams, network teams, security teams, and application teams. Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to customer IT teams. Participate in implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities. Required Technical Skills Lansweeper Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Lansweeper experience .
