Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Asset Management, the Senior Lead, Reliability is responsible for leading enterprise-level reliability improvement across operating sites, with a primary focus on increasing maintenance availability, reducing equipment-related downtime, and improving the effectiveness of maintenance strategies for critical fixed and mobile assets.
The role works directly with site Maintenance, Reliability, Planning, Operations, and Engineering teams to identify the principal drivers of lost availability, determine the underlying equipment and maintenance causes, and develop prioritized actions that deliver measurable improvements in asset performance.
Using equipment health, work management, failure, delay, and operating data, the Senior Lead, Reliability identifies chronic losses and bad actors, challenges ineffective maintenance practices, optimizes preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and supports sites in closing reliability gaps. The role ensures Central Asset Management standards and reliability methods translate into sustained improvements in availability, reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and lifecycle performance.
