SENIOR MANAGER - PURCHASE

Location: Pune Experience: 15+ Years Industry Experience: Contracting / Construction Company – Mandatory Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Purchase to lead and manage the procurement function for our Pune location. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end purchase and procurement activities. Develop and manage vendor relationships and supplier networks. Handle procurement of construction materials, services, and project requirements. Evaluate vendors, negotiate rates, and ensure competitive pricing. Manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and commercial negotiations. Coordinate with Project, Planning, QS, Billing, and Accounts teams for timely material procurement. Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements. Monitor purchase costs, budgets, quality, and delivery schedules. Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and processes. Lead and mentor the purchase team. Candidate Requirements 15+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement. Experience in a contracting/construction firm is mandatory. Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and procurement processes. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Good commercial understanding and decision-making ability.
