Senior Non-Life Actuary

We are looking for a senior Non-life Actuary to join our actuarial team: Responsibilities: Your role within our team includes: Providing actuarial support to the financial audit team: review of the non-life technical provisions under Local GAAP, review of Solvency II calculations and processes, review of IFRS 17 calculations and financial statements Providing consulting services to our clients related to Solvency II, IFRS 17 and actuarial modernization Attending actuarial events and conferences, writing articles and developing go-to market strategies Participating in responses to calls for tender and drafting proposals Your profile: You have 3 to 6 years of experience as a non-life actuary You hold a master’s degree in actuarial science You hold an actuarial qualification from well-known actuarial associations (qualified actuary) You have significant experience in Solvency II and IFRS 17 You are fluent in French and English, German or any other languages is an asset You have strong IT skills: VBA, R, Python, etc. Your qualities: critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail You have strong communication skills both written and oral We offer: Working in a multicultural environment where personal development is encouraged Working in a human sized international audit group Support in obtaining relevant professional qualifications (SOA, CAS, IFOA) Forvis Mazars is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture in which each individual feels welcomed.
