How You Will Make an Impact Frida is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer, Formulated to join our Packaging Engineering team and support the product development pipeline and broader packaging initiatives. This includes ideating, designing, prototyping, and validating new package proposals with an emphasis on aesthetics, performance, and manufacturability. The selected individual will have an eye for design and a mind for creativity. Responsibilities to include: Engineering and Design Serve as a technical lead for formulated packaging development on cross-functional teams. Establish technical objectives, direct, plan and execute complex technical requests for global packaging requirements, including primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for retail and e-commerce Partner with formulation scientists on providing recommendations for packaging testing & required equipment needed for launch & to achieve high quality products Ensure primary package functionality and specifications will perform to established performance criteria Plan, coordinate and execute formulated product line trials, documentation of trial outcome, fill range, weight, testing, coding, secondary & tertiary pack out, and palletization Develop formulated packaging to support Frida’s New Product Development (NPD) pipeline, keeping in mind principles of engineering, design, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and transportation Create and maintain library of detailed package BOM specifications and package assembly SOP instructions, exploded view…
