Job Responsibilities We're looking for Senior Platform Engineer, specializing in Compute Migration, to lead the strategic effort to migrate all of our existing AWS Lambda and ECS-based workloads to our next-generation Kubernetes platform. This is a high-impact role where you will design, implement, and govern the transition of business-critical, event-based workflows, ensuring they are optimized for performance, cost, reliability, and security within our K8s environment. This role requires deep expertise in both current (Lambda, ECS) and target (Kubernetes) compute architectures, as well as a strong focus on automation and developer experience. Define the technical roadmap, migration patterns, and reference architectures for moving Lambda functions and ECS services to our self-managed or managed Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS. Develop robust, scalable, and automated solutions for running event-driven, serverless-like workflows on Kubernetes, potentially utilizing technologies like KEDA or similar cloud-native tools.
