Who We Are
Zoopla is a leading UK property website and trusted consumer brand, empowering movers to make better property decisions with over nine million monthly users generating over one billion annual property searches.
Zoopla is more than a property portal. Over 5 million homeowners are subscribers, tracking their property values and providing a pipeline of movers for Zoopla’s customers (estate agents and housebuilders). The business is investing in leveraging its scale and reach to build new, AI-driven experiences that engage movers and unlock value and a strong return on investment for customers.
Our guiding behaviours define how we work together and what we expect from one another. These behaviours are to keep it simple, take ownership, make it better and win together. We strive for progress not perfection and have no doubt that we can achieve our ambitions if we focus on the right things, give it our all and do it together.
About the role
This is a full-time, permanent position.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the experience of Zoopla’s commercial marketplace: the platforms, tools and workflows that agents, developers and property professionals, plus the consumer-facing surfaces and advertising products tied to those businesses. This role suits someone who moves comfortably between feature and product-level craft and the wider systems and workflows they sit within, is comfortable when the buyer isn’t the user, and balances improving what exists today with shaping what comes next.
What you’ll do
Ownership and Impact
Own design within your team from problem framing through to delivery and optimisation, taking responsibility for outcomes not just outputs
Translate customer behaviour and insight into clear opportunities, prioritising work based on impact, effort and business value
Balance user needs, buyer needs, technical constraints and commercial priorities when shaping solutions
Designing across the commercial marketplace
Design across the marketplace, from the workflows professionals rely on to the consumer-facing and advertising experiences that support those businesses
Design intuitive, high-quality tools and platform experiences for frequent, high-volume use by expert users, accounting for the roles, permissions and operational complexity
Connect workflows across the full customer lifecycle, from…
