The Project: Sydney Metro West is a transformational 24 km underground railway connecting Sydney CBD to Parramatta, with stations at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street. The Linewide package connects the entire system, delivering the critical rail infrastructure and technology that bring the metro network to life. Project offices are located across several Sydney locations including the CBD, Clyde, Rosehill, The Bays and Burwood North. The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with strong HV and LV experince to join our Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Team on the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project.  Key Repsonsibilities: ­Construction management: develop and manage engineering, procurement and construction activities and coordinate resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards to meet Client’s expectation and maximise KPI requirements  ­Design management: collaborate and coordinate design team to feed construction inputs into detailed designs and construction specifications to ensure the “design-to-build” approach in the delivery lifecycle ­HSQE leadership: drive health, safety, quality and environmental management of projects, influencing behavioural changes as required on site with construction partners and subcontractors.  ­Financial management: ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue, take corrective action in line with authority and reporting frameworks and maximise the profit margin for the project ­Stakeholder management: Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community and other external parties are developed and maintained ­Risk management: proactively monitor on-site project delivery performance against identified project delivery milestones, identify and report any potential obstacles to success and seek solutions to avert or mitigate or escalate as early as possible About You: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. Previous Major project experience in Rail Infrastructure. Extensive knowledge and proven experience in electrical engineering, i.e. HV and LV distribution.
