About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative to build a net-new pipeline for our Checking and Payments sales team as Bluevine expands its reach among businesses generating approximately $1 million to $10 million in annual revenue. You will partner closely with an Account Executive to research target accounts, engage prospects through cold calls and email, qualify interest, and schedule meetings with key decision-makers.
This role combines the executional discipline of sales development with the opportunity to help build and scale a new outbound motion. You will conduct account research, personalize outreach, develop repeatable workflows, and create effective email and call sequences. Strong judgment, consistent execution, and a willingness to test, learn, and improve will be essential to your success.
You will also have the opportunity to build the prospecting, discovery, and pipeline management skills needed to grow into an Account Executive role as the team expands.
What You’ll Do
Build a consistent flow of qualified meetings and net-new pipeline through cold calling, personalized email outreach, and structured follow-up.
Research target accounts and identify founders, business owners, operators, and finance leaders who may benefit from Bluevine’s banking and payments products.
Personalize outreach at scale and develop messaging that converts prospects into meaningful conversations and qualified meetings.
Qualify prospects by understanding their business, current banking relationships, needs, and level of interest.
Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives and provide clear context to support productive conversations.
Test call scripts, subject lines, value propositions, and outreach cadences, and apply what you learn to improve targeting, messaging, and the broader outbound sales process.
Maintain accurate activity, contact, and prospect records in Salesforce and other sales tools.
