Ready to modernize medicine with us? Job Description Summary: ModMed is looking for a   Senior Software Architect   to serve as a technical linchpin within our Architecture Organization. Reporting directly to the   Director of Software Architecture , you will be responsible for turning high-level business strategies into scalable, high-performing technical realities. You will lead the design of complex, cloud-native systems, ensuring that our software products are not only innovative but also resilient, secure, and built for long-term sustainability. As a Senior Architect, you will act as a bridge between the Director’s vision and the engineering teams’ execution, providing the technical blueprints and leadership necessary to modernize our healthcare technology suite. What you'll do Architectural Blueprinting:   Define the technical solutions, assumptions, and constraints for major initiatives. You will create the technical roadmaps that align with our "multi-generation" software plans. Cloud-Native Evolution:   Lead the migration and optimization of ModMed products into a unified cloud engineering organization, utilizing AWS/Azure/GCP best practices. Standardization & Reuse:   Identify recurring patterns across different product lines to develop common frameworks, reducing duplication and driving engineering efficiency across the enterprise. Hands-on Technical Leadership:   While this is an architecture role, you will remain "hands-on" by developing prototypes (POCs), establishing CI/CD standards, and ensuring modern SRE/DevOps principles are baked into every design. Technical Governance:**   Evaluate existing systems to identify bottlenecks in performance, security, or cost, and propose actionable architectural shifts to resolve them.
