Job Summary We are looking for passionate Backend - Senior Software Developers (3–6 years of experience) who enjoy solving complex engineering problems and building highly scalable financial systems. You will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native microservices that power mission-critical banking and payments platforms. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST APIs, and Test-Driven Development (TDD), and is comfortable working in an AI-assisted software development environment using modern developer productivity tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-scale distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and fintech integrations while collaborating closely with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+. Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal platforms, banking partners, payment gateways, and third-party services. Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication. Design efficient data models and implement persistence using PostgreSQL, JPA, and Hibernate. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. Create comprehensive unit and integration tests, unit Tests using JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ, Test containers. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical documentation. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software. Leverage AI-powered developer tools (Windsurf(Devin AI), Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to improve engineering productivity while ensuring code quality and security. Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root cause analysis.
