Senior Software Engineer (must haves: NodeJS, Java, MySQL, MongoDb, Docker)

Our NielsenIQ backend teams are building scalable, reliable, and cloud-native systems that power consumer-facing applications and data platforms used by clients worldwide. Our clients rely on NielsenIQ's data and insights to innovate and grow. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be part of a team of highly skilled engineers passionate about solving complex distributed system challenges. We work primarily with Java and Node.js, leveraging modern messaging, storage, and deployment technologies, with central technology hubs across Europe, Chennai and globally.  What you'll do  Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Node.js.  Build and optimize event-driven architectures and data pipelines with Kafka.  Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB).  Deploy and operate services on container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).  Contribute to Serverless architecture design and implementation.  Evaluate the best approach to solve complex distributed system challenges.  Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams to deliver high-quality features.  Following source & test-driven development best practices.  Track ticket progression with JIRA.  Proactive communication with the team.  Overall 7+ years of experience.
