J ob Description: DTN is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer – Workday Finance to join our Finance engineering organization and build scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions supporting critical financial business processes. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for enterprise Finance applications and services. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, QA, and Finance domain experts to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building distributed, cloud-based enterprise applications and an understanding of financial systems and business processes. What You Will Be Responsible For Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable software services supporting Workday Finance capabilities Own complex technical problems from requirements and architecture through implementation, production deployment, and ongoing support Design and implement reliable APIs, backend services, data models, and distributed systems Develop solutions supporting financial transactions, accounting, billing, revenue, reporting, and related Finance workflows Ensure financial data is accurate, consistent, secure, traceable, and auditable Design systems capable of handling high transaction volumes while meeting performance, availability, and reliability requirements Build resilient services with appropriate handling of retries, failures, duplicate transactions, and data reconciliation Participate in architecture and design reviews and influence technical direction Partner with Product Management and Finance subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into effective technical designs Troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve system reliability, performance, and observability Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Contribute to…
