We are seeking an experienced Millwright ( Field Service Technician)  to join our team. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with customers while providing expert technical support, maintenance, and commissioning services for our industrial products. What You'll Do As a Service technician, you will manage all phases of the field service cycle, including: Performing inspections, repairs, overhauls, alignments, and commissioning activities at customer sites and Voith facilities Troubleshooting, disassembling, reassembling, and maintaining Voith Hydrodynamic and Geared Industrial products Providing preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and technical support services Preparing detailed service reports, maintenance analyses, and failure investigations Delivering exceptional customer support in person, by phone, and via email Determining scope of work, parts requirements, and tooling needs Assisting the quotation process by providing estimates for labor duration and expenses Coordinating service schedules and arranging support from additional field service representatives as required Supporting the inside and outside sales teams with technical expertise Completing expense reports, timesheets, and documentation to facilitate timely customer invoicing Ensuring strict compliance with all Voith safety standards, procedures, and operational directives Participating in special projects and assignments as required What We're Looking For Education Post-secondary education in a mechanical field is considered an asset Red Seal certification or equivalent trade qualification is required Experience Minimum of 5 years of field service experience in a similar industry involving mechanical rotating equipment Experience with PLC controls is considered an asset Vibration analysis experience is considered an asset Skills and Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate technical information clearly through…
