Serviceability and Service Innovation Manager
Job Description
In this role you will own the end-to-end realization of serviceability innovation across component, system, and service-solution levels, from concept development through validation, introduction, and adoption. Your work will improve customer experience, system uptime, service productivity, and business performance.
Your role
You will translate operational experience, field service insights, customer feedback, and commercial opportunities into clear requirements for new and existing Computed Tomography products.
You will challenge existing service concepts and use data to improve their usability, efficiency, scalability, and customer acceptance.
You will drive system-level integration, ensuring that component-level service capabilities come together as complete solutions.
Where individual components do not meet operational requirements, you will identify gaps and lead the development of broader system and service solutions.
You will embed serviceability as a core design principle throughout product development.
Working closely with new product introduction teams, you will help build the methods, governance, performance indicators, and best practices needed to deliver sustainable service innovation across the Computed Tomography organization.
You will collaborate across component development, system engineering, product management, service delivery, service innovation, and commercial teams. Together, you will translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions and differentiated service offerings.
You will establish measurable serviceability outcomes and drive continuous improvement based on customer experience, system uptime, service cost, productivity, adoption, and commercial value.
You’re the right fit if
You bring substantial experience in Computed Tomography, medical systems, field service, customer support, service engineering, product development, or a related technical service environment.
Experience translating field challenges into product or service improvements is essential.
You have a degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, biomedical, or business engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and relevant professional experience.
Experience with quality systems, Lean, Six Sigma, or regulated medical-device development is an advantage.
You can lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.
You are comfortable working across geographical and organizational boundaries and influencing stakeholders at different levels
You combine systems thinking with a strong customer and business perspective.
You can connect technical decisions with service operations, customer value, system availability, cost, productivity, and commercial differentiation
