Role Overview:
Join a growing team securing both leading-edge protection solutions and enterprise infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, a part of the Operational Support Systems (OSS) organization under the Security & Distributed Cloud organization , you will ensure all FedRAMP and commercial infrastructure is functioning properly and securely to support business operations and F5 products and services. This position is focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) for F5’s FedRAMP environments and requires the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, resolve issues, configure and maintain systems, automate workflows, and create and update documentation regularly to ensure clarity and operational continuity. You will collaborate closely with your counterparts as part of a follow-the-sun support model to ensure smooth global operations.

IAM Operations: Manage IAM workflows such as access provisioning, deprovisioning, permissions updates, and identity-related escalations to support secure and efficient operations.
Ticket Management: Resolve IAM-related tickets via Jira, GitLab, and ServiceNow, meeting SLA requirements and ensuring high-quality resolutions.
Automation and Workflow Optimization: Write and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, Selenium, or PowerShell to automate provisioning, compliance reporting, and repetitive IAM tasks such as access management updates.
Build and Enhance Automation Pipelines: Collaborate with IAM and engineering teams to design, configure, and troubleshoot automation pipelines for managing deployments and ensuring efficient identity-related workflows.
Documentation: Write and maintain clear and thorough documentation for IAM workflows, automation scripts, pipeline configurations, and system troubleshooting processes to ensure operational clarity for the team.
Identity Provider Migrations & Consolidation: Assist in Identity Provider (IdP) migrations for systems such as Okta and Entra ID and consolidate duplicative IAM systems as part of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Ensure scalability, availability, and security during integration efforts.
Monitoring and Alerting: Deploy monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk, to track IAM system health and resolve potential risks before they impact operations.
