Engineering Team: As an Engineer at StackAdapt, you will be directly involved in the development of our advertising platform, producing production level code that will have a direct impact on the success of our product. About the Backend Team: The backend teams at StackAdapt are responsible for engineering data-intensive large distributed backend systems powering core features including bidding, analytics, inventory, integrations, and user profiling. Our real-time advertising bidding system handles over 3,000,000 requests per second and stores several terabytes of data every day. Watch our talk at Amazon Tech Talks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRqu-a4gPuU What you'll be doing: Building highly scalable, distributed real-time micro-services primarily written in GoWorking with large data sets and various databases including Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Redis, ScyllaDB, Redshift, TiDB, MariaDB Build software that utilizes messaging queues such as Kafka, SQS, and Kinesis Write performance-efficient and memory-optimized code What you'll bring to the table: Contribute to technical planning and architectural decision-making Collaborating with team members on designing complex, scalable, well-tested, and well documented Backend software Ability to take responsibility and ownership of projects Contribute to code reviews and cross-team collaboration with product managers and designers Write extensible scalable and test-driven software, either in teams or individually depending on the scope of the project Working with a designated…
