Cloud Security Engineering at Cisco drives the technology that is transforming the way customers secure their networks and, more importantly, their users. We are seeking an Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative technology team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate who has a strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, cloud technologies, and automation, along with a strong desire to learn and grow in the DevOps domain. As a member of the SSE Control Plane organization , you will work with engineers responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of key microservices focused on cloud network experience, traffic optimization, and insights for products such as Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Secure Access . This role provides an opportunity to learn modern cloud infrastructure, CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container technologies, observability, automation, and production operations while working with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. What You’ll Do ·        Assist development and operations teams in building, automating, and improving software delivery processes. ·        Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines that support reliable deployment from development to production. ·        Support cloud infrastructure operations under the guidance of senior engineers. ·        Help monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools. ·        Participate in troubleshooting issues across applications, platforms, and cloud environments. ·        Work with engineering teams to improve deployment, testing, automation, and operational workflows. ·        Learn best practices for cloud security, reliability, scalability, and incident response. ·        Contribute to scripts, tools, and automation that improve engineering productivity. ·        Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to support production services. ·        Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and practices in cloud, DevOps, and site reliability engineering. Basic Qualifications ·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. ·        Fresh graduate or early-career candidate with strong interest in Cloud DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or automation. ·        Exposure to one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure through coursework, projects, internships, or self-learning. ·        Foundational understanding of software development and operating system concepts. ·        CI/CD (Jenkins): Hands-on experience building/modifying pipelines for Docker, Terraform, and Helm; proficient in troubleshooting build/deployment issues. ·        Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Proficient in provisioning AWS infrastructure; deep understanding of modules, state management, and pipeline-driven deployments. ·        Containerization (Docker):…
