As a Software Engineer, you design, build, test, release and support secure, reliable and scalable backend services, APIs and event-driven capabilities. You work as a senior individual contributor within a cross-functional product team, provide technical leadership, improve engineering practices and support the growth of other engineers. As a Software Engineer, you thrive on understanding and translating customer needs into new products and capability. You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will use your advanced software engineering knowledge to deliver complex application capabilities and improve the health of Telstra's many digital assets. You will translate customer and business needs into maintainable technical solutions, contributes to architectural decisions, champion quality and security, and supports software across the full development lifecycle.
