Sourcing Manager Position Summary You will report into the Global Category Manager responsible for Insecticide. As the Sourcing Manager, you will work within FMC’s Global Procurement Group as a key member of the Active Ingredient team. You will be responsible for performing category management activities including, but not limited to, sourcing strategy development, business allocations, stakeholder management, contract lifecycle management, supplier relationship and performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. Location: AIC Shanghai The Role (daily responsibilities) We are seeking a candidate that can hit the ground running and make a visible impact within a short period of time. You can anticipate the following key responsibilities: Collaborate with functional leads to build subcategory strategies, based on a thorough understanding of FMC’s business conditions Complete end to end value chain review and identify areas of change for the products in scope in order to drive implementation of a competitive and resilient supply network Understand, model and conduct cost-analysis activities (Total Cost of Ownership) in partnership with finance, Operation and Technical to identify saving opportunities. Develop Market Intelligence to inform the best set of actions to manage pressures from the market Develop and execute subcategory sourcing strategies (e.g. RFI, RFP, RFQ, scorecard and bid analysis, etc.) Negotiate supplier contracts utilizing FMC contract templates and procedures Manage timely and cost-effective resolution of contractual…
