The Global Supply Chain Materials Intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, strategic stocking, and inventory analytics within a global supply chain environment. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in combining traditional analytical methods with AI, collaborating across business functions, and supporting process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing cost, efficiency, and delivery. The Intern will be responsible for:
Support analysis of inventory levels, material demand, shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving materials using AI and traditional analytical methods.
Assist with materials planning and inventory optimization initiatives across global locations.
Collect, validate, and organize data from ERP systems and other supply chain tools.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance indicators.
Help identify opportunities to improve material availability, inventory accuracy, and working capital.
Support cross-functional projects involving procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and operations.
Document processes and contribute to the standardization of global materials practices.
