We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position offers remarkable flexibility, allowing you to work in both our clinic and ABA centers located in Wake Forest.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with our esteemed SLP team to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication abilities.
Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to provide comprehensive support for patient care.
Maintain precise documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process to foster understanding and engagement.
Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology to continuously enhance our service delivery.
Qualifications
A valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
Experience working with pediatric populations is advantageous, but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with patients and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering a supportive and productive workplace.
Starting rate: $35 an hour
