JOB TITLE: Sports Management Associate
LOCATION: Arlington, TX
POS I TION TYPE: Full-Time
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO : TBD
WORK HOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM , with the ability to work weekends and/or extended hours , as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The USBC paid training program is designed to prepare you for career opportunities within our organization and the sports industry. Over a period of 100 days, you will get hands-on training and experience in every aspect of a national governing body for the sport of bowling. From Team USA to Finance to Marketing , and everything in between. Study each area within this non-profit organization through a fully paid training program that seeks to establish job placement upon completion of the training program.

This position may include a temporary domestic assignment for an extended period as a staff member at the USBC Open and/or Women’s Championships.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
Building business relationships within and outside of the organization.
Train with the following departments:
Association /Membership Services
Coaching
Communications
Digital Media
Equipment Specifications
Finance
Human Resources
Information Technology
Marketing
Rules and Compliance
Strategic Planning
Team USA
Tournaments
Youth Development
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word) .
Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
