Summary InterDigital is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen enterprise security capabilities across infrastructure, cloud, applications, data, AI, and R&D environments. This role will support security engineering, governance, risk and compliance, identity and access management, and emerging technology protection. This role is ideal for a senior security professional who can balance hands-on engineering with forward-looking security strategy, helping shape scalable security practices across InterDigital’s enterprise and R&D environments. This role will report to the Sr Director, Head of Cybersecurity & Networking Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain security solutions across enterprise, cloud, AI, IAM, and hybrid environments. Support GRC activities, including risk assessments, control validation, policy alignment, audits, and security framework adoption. Partner with IT, R&D, engineering, and business teams to identify risks and recommend practical security improvements. Support security reviews for R&D initiatives, AI-enabled systems, applications, platforms, and emerging technologies. Contribute to threat modeling, vulnerability management, incident response, identity governance, and access control improvements. Evaluate emerging threats, tools, and technologies to improve InterDigital’s security posture. Develop security standards, architecture patterns, documentation, and roadmap inputs. Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on security projects. Qualifications Strong experience in cyber security engineering, enterprise security, cloud security, IAM, GRC, or infrastructure security.
