Responsibilities
The Sr. Financial Analyst position will serve as a direct financial partner to various functions, such as accounting and various overhead department heads. The position will be responsible for providing key analytical support around various analysis related to overhead cost and/or Capex spend. This position will also have an active role in reviewing a variety of financial data to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis (budget vs. actual)
Partner with department leaders to track spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
Track, record, and summarize capital expenditures across business units, ensuring accurate categorization and alignment with budgeted capex plans
Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports to business stakeholders
Support month-end close activities in coordination with the accounting team
Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates across business units
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
Assist in preparing materials for executive and board-level presentations
Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
Help maintain and improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes
Assist in process implementation and manage various initiatives from a financial perspective
Build and foster relationships throughout the organization, creating an environment of collaboration
Review and analyze large volumes of data with the ability to produce findings that are easy to understand
Maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
