The Hotel Storekeeper is responsible for efficient inventory control, storage, and distribution of all hotel consumables onboard. This role ensures accurate stock levels, proper handling of goods, and adherence to company standards and safety regulations. Manage inventory control processes for all hotel supplies, including food & beverage items, housekeeping materials, and guest amenities, ensuring that stock levels are accurately recorded, tracked, and consistently aligned with operational requirements and company budget targets. Oversee the receiving process for all incoming deliveries, carefully inspecting quantities and product quality against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies or damages, and coordinating with provisioning and procurement teams to resolve issues in a timely and compliant manner. Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items, applying FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles, maintaining clear labeling systems, and strictly adhering to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (including HACCP requirements) to prevent contamination or spoilage. Control and execute the distribution of goods to onboard departments, ensuring that all requisitions are processed accurately, authorized appropriately, and documented within the inventory system to maintain full traceability and accountability. Perform regular physical stock counts and participate in monthly inventory audits, proactively identifying variances, investigating root causes of discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain stock accuracy and prevent loss or shrinkage.
