Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business MBA or Master's degree in Finance (preferred) CPA, CMA or CFA (highly advantageous) Experience 8-10 years of progressive finance experience At least 4 years in Financial Planning & Analysis 2-3 years in people or team leadership Direct ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Hands-on management of full P&L or major business unit Technical & Analytical Skills Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills Expert-level Excel and Powerpoint proficiency Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Hands-on use of FP&A/planning tools (e.g. Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive) Strong variance analysis, KPI tracking and scenario analysis capability Business & Strategic Skills Strong business partnering with senior leaders Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights Sound understanding of business drivers, cost structures, and profitability Strategic mindset with commercial acumen Leadership & Behavioral Competencies Proven ability to lead, coach and develop analysts Strong communication and executive presentation skills High level of accountability, initiative and attention to detail Ability to influence decisions without formal authority
