Role Overview We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer — React Native to help build and evolve a high-quality mobile product alongside the client’s existing team. You’ll use React Native, Expo, ReactJS, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, balancing speed, quality, scalability, and efficiency throughout the delivery process. The product’s user base is primarily on iPhone and iPad, making a strong iOS experience highly valuable. Collaborate with the client’s technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and translate business needs into effective solutions. Work on web platform features using ReactJS, Next.js, and TypeScript, ensuring a consistent user experience across platforms. Contribute to the development and improvement of APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, working closely with back-end teams to support mobile and web integrations. Work with PostgreSQL and support reliable data integrations across the product ecosystem. Optimize application performance and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes. Implement best practices for security, usability, testing, and code maintainability in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Provide technical guidance on architecture, UI/UX considerations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across mobile and web applications. Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes to ensure code quality. Adapt to evolving priorities and collaborate effectively within a small, autonomous team.
