Job Summary The Senior Project Engineer serves as a key member of the project management team and is responsible for overseeing project execution, cost control, contract administration, scheduling, and operational support on heavy civil construction projects. This position acts as a bridge between field operations and project management, requiring advanced technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously. The Senior Project Engineer independently manages critical project functions, supports financial performance, mentors developing Project Engineers, and works closely with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure successful project delivery. This position serves as a primary developmental role in preparation for advancement into an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager position.
