And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.   Job Summary The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for implementing, administering, and supporting enterprise compute, virtualization, backup, and storage platforms. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge hardware, VMware vSphere 8.x, Dell Avamar, Veeam, and Dell Data Domain in complex, mission-critical environments. This role is focused on implementation, operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle management of infrastructure systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement and support Dell PowerEdge server infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere 8.x environments including ESXi, vCenter, HA,  DRS, and lifecycle updates. Implement and maintain backup solutions using Dell Avamar, Veeam, and Data Domain. Configure and manage Data Domain systems including MTrees, replication, retention policies, garbage collection, and capacity monitoring. Perform server builds, hypervisor installations, patching, and firmware upgrades. Troubleshoot complex hardware, virtualization, storage, and backup issues. Execute disaster recovery procedures and backup restoration activities. Implement backup policies and validate successful backup and restore operations. Maintain Windows Server environments (on-premises and hybrid integration). Apply security patches, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation. Maintain operational documentation and update configuration records. Coordinate with vendors (Dell, VMware, Veeam) for support and escalations. Participate in On-Call support rotation for critical infrastructure system.
