Sr.Engineer- Procurement Civil

Roles and Responsibilities Handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials as per project requirements and timelines. Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material requirements received from the Projects/Execution team. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for civil materials. Obtain and compare quotations, commercial terms, rates, delivery schedules, and payment terms . Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms . Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals. Manage procurement of materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, bricks, tiles, stone, waterproofing materials, plumbing-related civil materials, and other construction consumables . Conduct vendor negotiations and rate finalization for major procurement requirements. Maintain proper vendor records, quotations, comparative statements, POs, and procurement documentation .
