TaxBit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Systems, Security & Compliance organization and take ownership of the cloud infrastructure that powers our platform. In this role, you will be a technical leader for our AWS environment, driving the architecture, automation, and operational excellence of systems that our customers and internal teams depend on. You will also help shape and drive our AI (Dev)Ops strategy, defining how we deploy, monitor, and operate AI-enabled systems responsibly and at scale. Architect and evolve data storage and processing patterns that support scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Implement and maintain centralized logging, monitoring, and observability across services and infrastructure
Implement and maintain security guardrails integrated throughout the development lifecycle
Build workflow automation that reduces manual toil in infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operations
Debug and resolve complex issues across distributed, cloud-native systems, driving root-cause analysis and durable fixes
Implement AI Ops/AI DevOps practices to deploy, monitor, and operate AI-enabled systems and pipelines in production
