Acronis is a global leader in cyber protection, delivering AI-powered protection for productive MSPs in a single, natively integrated platform that unifies operations management, cybersecurity, and data protection. Driven by our mission to protect, manage and automate every workload that businesses and lives depend on, we’ve built the industry’s only all-in-one solution. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for the web interfaces of our hyperconverged infrastructure and IaaS platform — the provider admin panel and the tenant self-service portal through which compute, storage and networking are delivered as a service — building data-heavy, reliable UIs in React and Vue on top of the platform's APIs, and bringing them in line with the front-end stack used across Acronis products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, develop and maintain the platform's web interfaces in TypeScript with React and Vue: the administrative panel and the self-service portal, including dashboards, monitoring views, multi-step wizards, complex forms and large data sets.
Own front-end architecture and technical decisions in your areas, balancing delivery speed, reliability, security, performance and versatility.
Extend and adapt a large existing codebase to support new functionality, and improve its structure as you go rather than around it.
Work across the two front-end stacks in play: maintain and evolve the platform's existing Vue codebase while building new and Acronis-facing interfaces in React, reusing the shared React component libraries and design system used across Acronis products, and help converge the stacks where that pays off.
Implement the UI for new platform capabilities in step with the backend: consume and shape REST APIs and OpenAPI-generated clients, and agree on contracts with the backend developers.
Build and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests (Playwright), keep the suites meaningful and stable, and wire them into CI/CD.
Optimize performance and behavior for real clusters: large tables and lists, streaming and polled updates, charts and metrics views, and graceful handling of slow or failing services.
Implement and maintain multi-tenant UI concerns: tenants and projects, role-based access control, quotas and limits, and the differences between what a provider and their customers may see and do.
Take care of accessibility (WCAG) and localization, and keep the product usable for the operators who live in it all day.
Configure and optimize the build tooling (Webpack/Vite), keep dependencies current, and watch bundle size and load time.
Investigate and resolve complex issues from the browser down to the API, and drive them from root cause to a validated fix.
Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools for development, code analysis, test generation, debugging and technical research.
Conduct code reviews, write documentation, and mentor less experienced front-end developers.
