This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $28-$36 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $65,000–$75,000. Summary of the Role As a Structural BIM Designer, supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be responsible for designing, detailing, and drafting construction documents under the guidance of Structural Engineer/Project Managers. Projects will be located throughout the U.S. and will include: steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, timber and masonry. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for the production of structural engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, building code requirements and site adapt adjustments. Responsibilities Use and develop skills in AutoCAD and Revit Structure to develop construction documents. Report under the direction of the Structural Project Engineer and Structural Project Manager. Work in a collaborative environment and assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and construction document phases of a project. Perform quality control of their own work prior to giving it to the Structural Project Engineer for final review. Assist in maintaining task budgets.
