About the role
The Student Support Officer provides administrative support to the VET team, helping coordinate student processes, support progression and act s as a key contact for students and stakeholders. T he position reports to the Operations Manager, Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day administration, maintain student records, and assist with student course enquires .
Maintain accurate student files and registers in line with compliance requirements.
Respond to student and stakeholder enquiries.
Support process improvements and comply with University policies .
Keep program information current across relevant systems and portals.
Qualifications, skills & experience
Relevant degree or equivalent experience, education and training.
Administrative experience in V ocational Education and Training or a R egistered Training Organisation environment, with knowledge of ASQA, training packages and government-funded programs.
Strong Microsoft Office, LMS and CRM system skills.
Excellent communication, customer service, organisation and time management skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, show attention to detail, solve problems and use initiative.
