An internship with our company is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10-to-14-week program that starts in mid-May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching. Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to a company office location. Compensation Minimum: $25.00 Compensation Maximum: $39.00 As a Summer 2027 Digital Risk and Compliance Intern you will, Support initiatives that help the organization identify, assess, manage, and report technology and cybersecurity risks. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to cybersecurity governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, policy management, control frameworks, and assessment activities. This role provides an opportunity to develop analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while contributing to projects that strengthen the organization's risk and compliance capabilities.
Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of our business, corporate culture and structure to support your work.
Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.
Assist with research, analysis, and documentation to support cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of the organization's control repository, including control documentation, mapping, and reporting activities.
Assist with policy and standards governance activities, including document reviews, updates, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
Participate in risk and control assessments by gathering information, reviewing documentation, tracking action items, and supporting reporting efforts.
Analyze risk, compliance, and control data to identify trends, develop metrics, and create reports for management and key stakeholders.
Support regulatory and audit-related activities, including evidence collection, documentation reviews, and issue tracking.
Collaborate with business and technology partners to gather information, understand processes, and support risk management initiatives.
Assist with the tracking and reporting of compliance obligations, risk remediation efforts, and control improvement initiatives.
Prepare presentations, summaries, and project updates for team members and leadership.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to increase efficiency through automation, standardization, and improved documentation.
Present project results to management and department personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
