About The Opportunity Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor - Direct and supervise shipping/receiving personnel to ensure timely shipments are made and product is accurately received while maintaining a safe working environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions, timely reporting safety incidents, enforcing safety-related policies and procedures, and conducting any needed training. 2. Help coordinate outbound shipments. 3. Ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed based on available and anticipated inventory and order promise dates. 4. Address and communicate quality issues to internal team and external customers. 5. Ensure raw materials are received and accurately placed into inventory. 6. Ensure warehouse and materials are well-organized. 7. Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and operating reports to determine changes in schedules. 8. Maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shift. 9. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities. 10. Conduct annual performance reviews. 11. Other duties as assigned. Performance Measures and Outcomes Safety metrics On-time shipments Finished goods inventory Customer complaints Dead stock Education/Certification Level required: High school diploma or equivalent Level Desired: Associate's degree Work Experience Level Required: 3-5 years of relevant work experience/2 years of experience formal leadership position Level Desired: 2 years of experience in plastics or fabrication environment Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner 2.
