Surveyor

The Site Surveyor is responsible for carrying out all surveying and setting-out activities at project sites in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role includes establishing control points, conducting layout works, coordinating with main contractor engineers, and ensuring dimensional accuracy for construction activities. The Surveyor must ensure precision, documentation compliance, and adherence to safety standards while working under the subcontractor’s scope of work. Key Responsibilities 1. Survey & Setting-Out Works Perform setting-out of structural elements, foundations, columns, walls, slabs, and alignments. Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and grid lines. Conduct topographic and as-built surveys. Verify levels, verticality, and alignment of installed elements. 2. Equipment Handling Operate Total Station, Auto Level, Digital Level, GNSS/GPS equipment. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey instruments. Maintain survey logs and field records.
