Investing in our employees not only enhances their potential but also contributes to our collective success.  SUMMARY OF POSITION The Surveyor is expected to perform land and hydrographic surveys in a professional, timely, and safe manner that satisfies the client's requirements. The Surveyor will be responsible for survey project planning, coordination, execution of fieldwork, and production of project deliverables. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Survey project schedules and forecasts.  Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.  Direct and perform land based and hydrographic (single-beam, multi-beam, and sonar imaging) surveys.  On-site safety, directing, and documenting safety meetings.  Adhere to quality assurance procedures.  Knowledge of surveying equipment and software.  Complete project administrative tasks, forms, etc.  Ensure survey equipment is in good working condition and properly report any deficiencies.  Operate vehicles, survey vessels, and associated support equipment.  Assist with the development of survey procedures.  Assist with the preparation of project scopes and estimates.  Plan and execute project quality control and assurance procedures.  This position requires up to 80% travel to project sites. Survey work may involve multi‑day field assignments, frequent mobilization to remote locations, and extended time on small vessels or along shorelines. Candidates should expect irregular schedules based on project demands, including early mornings, occasional weekends, and overnight travel.
