Systems Engineer I/II OR Software Engineer 0/I/II

*This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph clearance to be considered.* ProSync is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Responsibilities: Python Application Development — Develop, test, and maintain Python applications supporting mission workflows and backend processing. Containerization & Docker — Build, optimize, and troubleshoot Docker‑based containers used across development, testing, and production environments. Kubernetes Deployment — Deploy, manage, and support applications running in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability. Helm Chart Development — Create, maintain, and update Helm charts to support automated Kubernetes deployments and configuration management. Cloud‑Native Engineering — Apply cloud‑native principles to improve application resilience, observability, and maintainability. CI/CD Collaboration — Work with DevSecOps teams to integrate Python applications and containerized services into automated CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshooting & Optimization — Diagnose issues across containerized environments, Kubernetes workloads, and Python applications. Documentation & Team Support.
