Department: Drainage/Depot Network consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year. This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners. Purpose of the role: To independently operate a vacuum tanker and carry out the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous liquid waste. The role involves supporting drainage and remediation projects, moving treated and untreated waste products, and delivering a high standard of service to customers. The post holder is responsible for maintaining accurate electronic records, conducting daily vehicle and jetting equipment inspections, reporting any safety concerns, and ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Please note that full training will be provided. Location: Liverton Hours: 47.5 per week, Mon - Fri 07:30- 17:00 Hourly Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour. Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter weekdays, time and a half weekends. Key Responsibilities: Independently driving and operating a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities Work Projects will include any drainage related issues Moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works Liaising with customers Updating electronical records Ensuring safety issues are reported Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks A phone will outline the navigation for the routes and jobs whilst working.
