Job Description
In this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and file tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Provide specialized tax advisory and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders on tax planning, withholding obligations, and social security contributions.
Collaborate closely with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate payroll tax calculations and reporting.
Advise on assignment structures, application of tax treaties, and identification of tax-efficient compensation and benefit structures.
Educate and counsel employees on tax obligations and the implications of international assignments, including tax equalization and tax protection policies.
Analyze employee compensation and payroll data to calculate tax liabilities accurately and identify optimization opportunities.
