As a Tax Trainee you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team , learning to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll be:
Assisting the team with the preparation and review of personal tax computations, including data entry and drafting self-assessment tax returns
Supporting with the preparation and submission of P11D forms and related employer compliance tasks
Managing client and HMRC correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication
Providing support with general tax administration duties, including maintaining accurate records and tracking key deadlines
Assisting with accounts preparation for sole traders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
Supporting with CIS and PAYE matters, excluding day-to-day payroll processing
Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required to support the wider tax and accounts team
Hungry for a new challenge, you’ll:
Have an excellent academic background, with 5 GCSEs at a minimum level 5 and above, with a level 6 or above in both Maths and English and on track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above
Love getting to know people and cultivating long-lasting relationships
Act like a sponge and totally enjoy learning
