Technical Consultant - Antivirus INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) Role details Job code: KTPL169TA2025 Location: Mumbai Work mode: Client site Experience: 3 to 5 years Employment type: Full time Openings: 1 About the role You will keep a client's endpoints protected and up to date using Trend Micro Apex One. You will watch security alerts, investigate malware detections, manage security agents and updates, and escalate critical incidents to L2 and L3. What you will do Monitoring and incident handling Monitor the Apex One dashboard for malware detections, security events and alerts Review virus, spyware, ransomware and behavior monitoring logs Identify infected endpoints and carry out the first investigation Escalate critical or recurring incidents to L2 and L3 Endpoint management Check the health, connectivity and installation status of Security Agents on desktops, laptops and servers Troubleshoot offline or disconnected agents Help deploy agents to new endpoints and keep endpoints compliant with security policy Signature and component updates Monitor pattern, scan engine and agent updates and confirm every endpoint receives them Trigger manual updates when needed and follow the update procedure during outbreaks What you need Hands-on experience with Trend Micro Apex One Knowledge of virus, spyware, ransomware and behavior monitoring Initial investigation of malware and security incidents Good to have Experience handling malware outbreaks Understanding of endpoint security best practices Basic knowledge of EDR or XDR Security incident management and ticketing Tools you will work with Trend Micro Apex One, Apex One Security Agent Qualification BE, BTech, MCA, BSc or BCA in any IT or computer science stream, or equivalent experience.
