What You’ll Do As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you'll be responsible for producing clear, accurate and user-friendly technical documentation to support Alexander Dennis vehicles throughout their operational life. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Support and suppliers, you'll transform complex technical information into structured publications that help customers and technicians safely operate, service and maintain our products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering or technical writing background who enjoys translating detailed technical information into practical documentation that adds real value for customers. What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone with a background in engineering and/or technical writing who can confidently interpret engineering drawings, technical data and supplier information and translate them into clear and effective documentation. You'll have excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A proactive approach, strong organisational skills and a willingness to embrace new technologies and ways of working are essential. Bonus if you have: Relevant academic, vocational or practical engineering experience Technical writing qualifications or certification Experience producing engineering or maintenance documentation Knowledge of commercial vehicles or passenger service vehicles (PCV) Experience using Adobe products such as Acrobat, InDesign or Illustrator Knowledge of modern and zero-emission vehicle technology A commitment to continuous professional development in industry standards and digital tools What We Offer Because we know that to deliver on our vision, people have to feel supported and inspired: Impact : Be part of something that’s changing cities, improving air quality, helping public transport evolve.
