Performing simple repairs, including replacing tooling inserts, ejector pins, core pins, and other common repairs
Reviewing the production schedule and recommending changes to job sequencing
Updating setup sheets and helping maintain accurate documentation
How you will be making an impact
Providing guidance and direction on maintaining molds, and training other employees on new molds, tools, and mold service techniques
Reviewing new tooling with experienced toolmakers and related prints to build familiarity with tooling
Keeping production running smoothly by ensuring tooling issues are caught, tracked, and resolved before they become downtime
