Test Specialist - CDU

CoolIT, An Ecolab Company, a leading Direct Liquid Cooling technology provider for data centers, supercomputers, and desktop computers is seeking a talented Test Specialist to join our CDU team. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive verification and validation strategies, including test plans, procedures, and protocols, ensuring alignment with internal quality standards and customer requirements. You will perform test planning, test execution, and product risk assessments. Additionally, you will analyze test data rigorously, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams. You will also lead root cause analysis, drive corrective actions for design and manufacturing issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Hands-on work with instrumentation, DAQs, actuators, and embedded systems is key, along with proficiency in bench test tools and mechanical design software. These costs are covered by CoolIT and are enacted from your first day What You Will Do: Work with the team of test engineers and technicians responsible for validation and qualification of Liquid Cooling distribution units and system components. Execute comprehensive test strategies and qualification plans to meet internal requirements and customer defined standards. Drive qualification of Pump, heat exchanger, PRV’s, electrical components and fluid distribution components across multiple coolants, covering thermal performance, fluid dynamics, reliability, and mechanical integrity. Execute stress, reliability, and durability test campaigns including HALT, thermal cycling, temperature stress, pressure, flow, vibration, mechanical load, and leak testing based on risk and field-use conditions. Review designs, materials, and specifications to identify technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and recommend design improvements to prevent field failures. Perform and assist the test planning and support risk mitigation.
